HALF MARATHON - Saturday, August 15, 2020
The Parkersburg News and Sentinel Half Marathon begins at 8:00 a.m. (Wheelchair division 7:50 a.m.) in downtown Parkersburg and is the RRCA WV Championship. The rolling course will take you out of the city and into the scenic surroundings of West Virginia before looping back into the commercial area. You will finish the race to the cheers of thousands of spectators lined up on Market Street prior to the Parkersburg Homecoming Festival Parade.

All participants in the Half Marathon will get a tech shirt, pre-race pasta dinner, finishers medal, & post-race pizza luncheon.

TWO MILE RACE - Saturday, August 15, 2020
Starting line is at Third and Juliana streets at the Towne Square Parking Garage and the finish line is at Sixth and Market streets. The Two Mile Race is the RRCA West Virginia Championship. Race begins at 8:10 a.m.

All participants in the 2 Mile will receive a T-shirt.

YOUTH RACES - Sunday, August 16, 2020
Based on age, these events will have age- and gender-based races for children ages 11 and younger. The Tiny Tot Trot is for children ages 5 and under and the Junior Races are for children ages 6 to 11. The Tiny Tot Trot will start at 1 p.m. at Parkersburg High School’s Stadium Field and the Junior Races will follow. Runners in these races can register on race day starting at 11:30 a.m. and ending just prior to the start of the races. Participants may also pre-register by mail, online, or at the Runners Expo on August 17.

All participants in the Youth Races will receive a T-shirt and medal.
Tiny Trot:
Ages 3-Under 50M
Ages 4-5 100M
Junior Races:
Ages 6-7 200M
Ages 8-9 400M
Ages 10-11 400M

5-9 p.m. - Pre-Race Pasta Dinner* - St. Francis Xavier Parish Center, near Finish Line (included with Half Marathon)
*2-mile participants, guest and children tickets may be purchased at the door. (2-mile tickets $3 with bib present, Guest tickets $7, & Children $4)
6 p.m. - Free half marathon course bus tour (leaves from 3rd and Avery)

Runners who complete in both the Odgen Newspaper Half Maraton & Parkersburg News and Sentinel Half Marathon will receive a special tech shirt! Dual Registration for Ogden/Parkersburg Half Marathon Run or Walk available for a discount.
*Must be preregister in the Parkersburg News and Sentinel Half Marathon by August 1 to get special shirt.
